The name tags on prospective students.

Different Stations were good
What weaknesses do you see in the St John’s Open day that we ran for 2012?
Nothing about Careers-only a focus on academic results
Look to included the Career pathways we offer as a starter.
More time needed at stations.
As I leader it took me two or three stations before I figured out what to do or even what to say. It got easy as the day went on. (Ryan Ennor Year 13)
Money could be spent in D block classes, foyer of Library, foyer of Gym etc to freshen up the place.
(Parent who attended) Maybe a bit long introduction, it could have been more concise.
The rush in getting the music gear set up.
Music gear then had to be moved back for the Tours to take place.
More time needed.
We seem to be getting better.
Tours seemed a little rushed
Tours seemed too rushed.
Tours too short
Not all staff were present.
Maybe trialling having on a week night. There may be an increase.
What recommendations do you have for a future St John’s Open day? Another two minutes at each activity (Ryan Ennor Year 13)
Order the classes a little better went from R9 to art to chapel
Have 5mins to show then different parts of the school eg Pool , BB courts etc (Ryan Ennor year 13)
Overall a great Day
We need to keep getting our message and image out to the public
Would an earlier start time work?
More instructions for teachers as to what to do?
(Parent who attended)shorter time in the Gym.
Teachers need to realise that if they carry on after the bell it slows the whole process down.
Teachers should not be making comments like"Dont send your Son to Boys High. It is a terrible school." Whiler they are aour opposition we still need to be professional.
(Parent who attended) Nice personal touch to see all the different sports kits and players.
